Whether you are an experienced marathon runner or taking on the 26.2-mile challenge for the first time, this is your chance to achieve something incredible whilst supporting Nottingham's hospitals.
Taking you past some of London's most famous landmarks, the world-renowned race provides an unforgettable atmosphere and the opportunity to make a difference to patients, staff and families across Nottingham.
Why run the London Marathon for Nottingham Hospitals Charity?
By choosing to run for Nottingham's NHS hospitals, you'll be helping to fund life-changing equipment, research and wellbeing projects across QMC, Nottingham Children's Hospital, City Hospital and Ropewalk House.
If you are lucky enough to secure a ballot space, you’ll be required to pay the entry fee of £69.99, which will guarantee your place on the start line.
You'll be cheered across the finish line by a team of volunteers and receive your official finishers' medal as well as the knowledge that you've just done something incredible for patients across Nottingham.

How your fundraising helps your local NHS
You can choose where you want your fundraising efforts to go, whether that’s one of our appeals or to an area of the hospital that has looked after you or someone you care about; it’s really up to you. If you don’t have a particular area in mind, you can also help fundraise for any area of Nottingham hospitals where the money is needed.
Just let us know where you would like your money to go, and we’ll make sure your donation goes to the right place.

Sadly, we don’t offer free charity places for the London Marathon. However, if you've been lucky enough to score your own place, we'd love for you to run in support of Nottingham hospitals.
There is no minimum fundraising target - all we ask is that you raise what you can. Every penny raised makes a difference to patients across our hospitals.
It’s really easy to run for Nottingham hospitals, simply fill out this form or get in touch with our team at hello@nottinghamhospitalscharity.org.uk and we’ll talk you through the next steps.
You’ll be covering 26.2 miles which is the standard marathon distance. It won’t feel that long however as you’ll be swept up in the enjoyment of the race.
Yes. If you secure a ballot, the London Marathon entry fee is £69.99, which guarantees you a spot.
