Experts from Nottingham’s CityCare Patnership helped staff and trustees of Nottingham Hospital’s Charity look at ways of boosting the Charity’s profile at a problem-solving event put on by the partnership.
Ten people from the Charity took part in the ‘ingenuity programme’ workshop – part of an inspirational initiative called #CommunityWorks where CityCare board members lend their time and expertise to help local charities.
Barbara Cathcart, chief executive of Nottingham Hospitals Charity, said: “We are very grateful for this occasion to examine issues confronting our charity and welcome the opportunity to problem solve at a strategic level through the ‘Ingenuity Programme.’
“We used the session to help us address the problem of increasing our local profile and raising awareness of what the charity does and how it helps patients.”
CityCare is a social enterprise which delivers a range of community healthcare services within the city of Nottingham.
