Messages of love and gratitude fill QMC on Valentine’s Day

Yesterday, we marked Valentine’s Day by celebrating everything that makes our hospitals special. Staff, patients, and visitors at Queen’s Medical Centre (QMC) came together to share heartfelt messages, fundraising stories, and experiences that highlight the incredible impact of our NHS.
Our Charity Hub on B Floor is now home to a special heart display, filled with messages of gratitude and appreciation. From patients thanking staff for their care and our volunteers sharing why they love to give back, to staff members across NUH expressing what they love about their jobs, our heart display is full to the brim with messages!
We also spread the love with Valentine’s treats across the hospital and a fantastic number of new participants signing up for our fundraising events this year, with our popular QMC abseil proving a particular favourite.
For those who couldn’t attend in person, our virtual heart message board remains open, allowing anyone to share a free message of support and appreciation for their local NHS.
