The Robin Centre is a place for clinicians and chaplains to spend quality time with patients and families who have suffered loss and bereavement. It is also intended to provide opportunities for staff to receive support from colleagues. The types of activities that are designed to take place in the Robin Centre include individual appointments, group debriefs, reflective practice, and supervision, among others.
In addition to the activities already taking place at the Robin Centre, plans are underway to provide professional counselling support to 50 families this year. This development will be shared with colleagues when it has been initiated.
The Robin Centre is not intended to be used for administrative functions, such as conducting job interviews, unless these functions are in direct support of the bereavement-related activities taking place on the day the Centre is booked.
Please note that the Robin Centre closes at 5pm. Any bookings made after that time will be asked to rearrange.
