Take on a fundraising challenge in 2025!

New year, new challenge? We’d love you to get involved in one of our fundraising events in 2025, and there are a whole host to choose from. Whether you fancy taking a 5k run, 10k run or one-mile stroll around Sherwood Pines, rowing on the River Trent, abseiling down the side of the QMC or even jumping out of a plane, there’s an event to suit you! Why not get your colleagues involved and take on a team challenge in aid of your area of NUH? See all our events and sign up today!

How we supported patients over the festive season

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we brought joy and cheer to patients across NUH over the festive period. Grant a Christmas Wish saw us delivering toys, games and kicking off six months of animal encounter sessions at the Children's Hospital. We also created heartwarming experiences like a festive cinema event at Hayward House, ensured adult patients received a thoughtful gift on Christmas Day, and provided festive keepsakes to newborns and their families. Read more about how we helped.

It’s Joyful January – and we’ve got toys galore to give away!

Following the overwhelming generosity of our supporters over the festive season, we have an abundance of toys still to give away to benefit children and young people on our wards. So this Joyful January, we’re opening up a special ballot so that staff across NUH can apply for free toys for their area. Ballot winners will be selected at random, with priority given to wards and areas which didn’t receive Grant a Christmas Wish funding over the festive season. Find out more and enter the ballot here.
